The Dunham-on-Trent Summer Fair returns to Dunham Village Hall, NG22 0FJ on Sunday 12th July from 12.00pm to 3.00pm – and this year it is set to be bigger than ever.
Teaming up with Tuxford Scouting and Guiding, organisers are bringing a motor racing theme and a high-profile charity auction to their traditional summer fair. There will be something for everyone.
A classic British summer fair awaits, including:
- A dog show open to all breeds, with the chance to win Best in Show
- A car boot sale and a variety of craft stalls
- Children’s games and activities
- Refreshments and a fully stocked bar
For motorsport fans, AVIT Motorsport will be showcasing a stunning selection of vintage Formula 1 cars. Fresh from appearances at world-famous circuits including Monaco and Circuit Paul Ricard, these remarkable vehicles offer a rare opportunity to get close to genuine racing history.
At 2.00pm, the Charity Auction will begin, raising vital funds for Tuxford Scouting and Guiding. Lots will include electronics, artwork and exclusive motor racing experiences. Highlights include an Experience Day at the AVIT Motorsport workshop and tickets to a Masters Racing Legends race.
The fundraising continues throughout the day as members of Tuxford Scouts take on a virtual Land’s End to John O’Groats cycle challenge. Collectively, they will pedal more than 1,000km to raise funds to support their club and local young people. Visitors are encouraged to cheer them on and support their efforts.
