After a long break, Doncaster Movie Makers are resuming meetings. The group meets nearly every Wednesday from 7.00pm between September and April, and once a month during the rest of the year.
They have a new home at Ennerdale Communal Hall, Fernhurst Road, Wheatley, Doncaster DN2 5RX.
The Movie Makers comprise a group of amateur film makers and, during meetings, they watch their films on a big screen and share knowledge. There are competition nights and members make films on set projects. Many types of equipment are used, including mobile phones.
If you are an established film maker, the group would appreciate any knowledge you have to share. If you have never made a film, but would like to, the Movie Makers will help. Even if you just want to watch films or make friends, you will be welcome.
