The new BBC series has seen a renewed interest in the characters, the men and the women, that lie behind the most famous date in English history – 1066. Historical fiction author Barry Upton will describe the characters behind the history and how their stories are represented in film and fiction. Tickets cost £3.00 to include refreshments.
