Another new year to refresh your gardens. It is a bit cold and wintry for many outdoor jobs at the moment, but diaries can come out to make new plans and record new ideas ready for those lovely warmer days we hope are just around the corner.
After the joys of wreath-making in November and a fabulous trip to the Thursford Spectacular, Clays Horticultural Society members enjoyed a prelude to Christmas with a festive meal together at Ye Olde Bell.
Commencing with ‘Tales of the Rufford Poachers’ on Monday 16th January, the group has planned a most varied and interesting programme. This includes a question time in February (please bring a written copy of your query to the January meeting at the latest).
Later in 2023, members will also enjoy trips to Renishaw Hall, Harrogate Flower Show and a holiday in Dorset.
