As the cooler weather sets in and the central heating goes on, members of Clarborough and District WI are looking forward to the seasonal entertainments that December brings – and the group’s meetings are no exception.
December’s meeting will feature the in-house Christmas party, complete with a talk on The Story of Gin. Membership has grown significantly over the past year, and the group has now outgrown its home at Clarborough Village Hall. From January, meetings will move to Hayton Village Hall.
The first meeting of the new year will be held on Monday 12th January at 2.00pm, when Rev Mark Cantrill will return to share his experiences on Bargain Hunt. Meetings will continue to be held on the second Monday of each month at 2.00pm. New members are always warmly welcomed. Visitors are invited to attend for a £5.00 fee, which includes refreshments and a raffle ticket. For more information, contact Lucy on 07966 452249.
The group wishes everyone a very happy Christmas and a peaceful and healthy New Year.
