The February meeting of Clarborough and District WI was very well attended, with Lesley Taylor from Veolia giving a talk on waste disposal and bin collections. She highlighted many common recycling errors and explained her work at the recycling centre. A light-hearted quiz helped members understand which bin their rubbish should go in.
March saw the return of Ralf Schweinem, who will speak about Tunnel 57 as a follow-up to his previous talk on the Berlin Wall and on Monday 14th April, Rebecca Kay will be visiting to give a talk about bees and honey.
For those looking for a new interest or a pleasant afternoon out, the group meets at Clarborough Village Hall on the second Monday of each month. Meetings start at 2.00pm, with a charge of £5.00, which includes refreshments and a raffle.
New visitors are always welcome!
