As the darker evenings approach, it can be tempting to stay close to home. However, the Clarborough and District WI ensures that members can continue to enjoy their social activities by holding meetings in the afternoon, allowing them to avoid late-night travel. If you are looking to expand your circle of friends, why not consider joining the WI?
At the September meeting, members welcomed the return of Ralf Schweinem, who shared stories about his childhood in a divided Germany and Tunnel 57. In October, the group will enjoy a Harvest Lunch and Social afternoon, offering an excellent opportunity to meet friendly and welcoming members.
There is a small charge of £5.00, which includes a raffle ticket. The next meeting will take place on Monday 14th October at 2.00pm in the Village Hall at Clarborough.
