The summer is rushing by, and Clarbroough and District WI has enjoyed celebrating its 62nd WI birthday with afternoon tea at the West Retford Hotel.
July saw members welcome their twin WI group from Yorkshire, when they had a card-making workshop followed by sumptuous refreshments. They look forward to the return visit next year to Hook in East Yorkshire.
Already the WI is looking towards its autumn programme. There will be no meeting in August with the next on 11th September, featuring a talk from Ralf Schweinem on his childhood experiences watching the Berlin Wall being built.
Meetings are now held at 2.00pm in the Halford Room, Clarborough Village Hall. If you feel like an afternoon out, why not join in? This is a small, friendly group of ladies and they look forward to seeing you.
