The month of February sees Clarborough and District WI looking forward to Monday 13th, when members will hear a talk given by Ralf Schweinem on the construction of the Berlin Wall. Ralf was a child at the time and remembers vividly this operation which eventually split Europe.
In January, the group enjoyed the company of new members of the Idle Valley Group of WIs when they joined for an evening of Kurling. This was eagerly anticipated by members as in December the WI had to cancel their meeting due to bad weather and members’ illness.
If you are interested, please go along to the Village Hall in Clarborough at 7.30pm; you will be made very welcome! This is a small group of enthusiastic and friendly members who would be glad to see you.
