Can you help to ensure a child maintains contact with their father or mother?

When a relationship breaks down, children can easily lose contact with the parent who leaves the family home. This can have a lasting effect on their mental health and education.
The Contact Centre in Retford is a safe place where those mums and dads can meet their children on a regular basis – it operates under the umbrella standards of the National Association of Child Contact Centres (NACCC).
At the centre they can see their children in a warm friendly environment, play with the toys and games together, both inside and out in the garden, all whilst volunteers are on hand to welcome everyone and provide refreshments. Volunteers are needed on a Saturday afternoon, about once every two months.
They really want to reopen for parents who desperately need them, but more volunteers are needed to join their team.
