Locally-based Bassetlaw Triathlon Club are planning to run another of the successful ‘Beginners to Freestyle’ course.
Most would-be triathletes find the swim element of such events the most challenging. This six week course based around the well established Swimsmooth training system will provide a supportive group alongside individual coaching. It is led by head coach Steve Chambers and supported by other club volunteer coaches.

The next course starts on Saturday 8th February 2020 and will run for a six week period. Pool time is 8.30am to 9.30am. The session runs from BPL (Worksop Leisure Centre). Ten places are available and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The course is aimed at people who want to be able to learn the basic fundamentals of swimming front crawl.

To be able to do the course you need to be able to swim 25m of any stroke, have suitable swim attire and a pair of goggles. The cost of the six weeks is £40.00, which will need to be paid upfront to secure your place. Anyone interested should contact the club via the email bassetlawtriclub@hotmail.co.uk.
