The April meeting of the Bassetlaw branch of Parkinson’s UK took the form of an afternoon of fun and tabletop games, which proved very successful. The next meeting will take place on Tuesday 6th May at 2.00pm at Worksop Cricket Club, when members will welcome a speaker from The Dogs Trust.
Branch activities continue to grow with the introduction of a weekly Walking Football session, alongside plans to launch ballroom dancing lessons shortly. These sessions will complement the well-established weekly Pilates, singing, and bowling activities.
The popular Branch Lunch Club meets on Tuesday 20th May at The Lockkeeper, Worksop, and a theatre outing on Saturday 17th May to see Shrek the Musical at the Acorn Theatre rounds off this month’s activities.
