Aurora is a cancer charity providing support in the local area for people living with cancer or a long-term health condition. They have a variety of support groups, counselling services and recreational activities on offer for the public too as well as the Heritage Hub, a charity shop and tearooms.
With summer finally here, there are lots of activities in the Old Library Building to keep you entertained and cool at the same time – or why not enjoy the sunshine under one a parasol with an ice cream or cool drink from Valerie’s Tearooms?

Fundraising at the Old Library Building
Did you know that the loose change you bring back from your summer holidays can help support Aurora’s services? They can accept all foreign coins and banknotes, old British or Irish money or even obsolete currency and convert them into cash.
If you have a fundraising idea or would like to host an event for Aurora such as an afternoon tea, sponsored walk or even bungee jumping, email hospitality@aurorawellbeing.org.uk to discuss how they can help with organisation.
