Until Tuesday 24th January the Sutton Art Group has a selection of artwork on display in Retford Library’s corridor gallery.
Why not make a point of going into Retford town centre? There are lots of shopping opportunities and you can also pop into the library and have a look at the exhibition. The library is open from 9.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday and to 4.00pm on Saturdays, and can be found at Cannon Square (DN22 6PE). There is free on-street short stay parking.
The group also had a very successful exhibition in Sutton Village Hall on Saturday 19th November, with around 200 paintings on show and lots of visitors from the village and the surrounding area. The group would like to thank all those who attended.
Thanks also go to members of St Bartholmew’s Church who ran the refreshments, with the proceeds going to the church building fund, and to others with their publicity – for example, the village website, Sutton Spotlight and social media.
