An invitation to ‘Life’s Greatest Adventure’

St Saviour’s Church, Retford would like to invite you to several events that are part of Archbishop of York, John Sentamu’s exciting, One Life Mission to the Southwell diocese.

A PIES, PEAS AND PERFORMANCES LITERARY FESTIVAL EVENT
Running without the pies and peas this time, but take your own drinks, Paul Cookson and Henry Normal will entertain guests on Friday 13th September, at 7.30pm, at St Saviour’s Church, Welham Road DN22 6TN.
Paul is a local performance poet, poet in residence for the National football museum, poet laureate for the band Slade. Henry Normal’s credits include Red Dwarf, The Royle Family, The Alan Partridge show, The Mrs Merton show and Philomena. A MEN’S BREAKFAST
You’re invited to ‘A Men’s Breakfast’, with questions to Bishop Keith Sinclair on Saturday 14th September, at 8.00am at The Well Baptist Church, Hospital Road, Retford DN22 7BD.

SKILLS AND THRILLS TALENT EVENING
On Saturday 14th September at 7.30pm, at St Saviour’s Church, there will be a Skills and Thrills talent evening. This is a chance for local talented people to perform in front of a friendly audience.
