Pies, Peas and Performances

by | 5 February 2020 | Music

Ryan Hamilton is the guest at the next Pies, Peas and Performances event on Saturday 8th February at St Saviour’s Community Centre, Lidget Lane, Retford. It will be an acoustic evening of songs and stories. Doors open at 7.00pm and tickets cost £15.00 from More Than Flowers, Retford or www.wegottickets.com. Tickets may be available on the door but it’s best to book ahead to guarantee your ticket.

Ryan is an American artist who has been described as “this generation’s Tom Petty” and his latest album — ‘This Is The Sound’ — is “an album of masterful songs guaranteed to lift your spirits and make you smile”. Look him up on YouTube or at his website — www.ryanhamilton.music.com — and you’ll definitely want to go along. He is only doing four UK shows and this is one of them. And it’s being filmed for a documentary!

As a group, Pies, Peas and Performances supports Bassetlaw Food Bank so do feel free to take contributions along on the night — food or financial. Take your own drinks of choice and they’ll provide the pies, the peas and the performance. If you have dietary needs please let them know via their Facebook page — Pies, Peas and Performances.
A date for your diary — Saturday 7th March, My Darling Clementine — a country duo returning after a storing visit last year.
