Harworth Christie Organ Enthusiasts

by | 17 June 2019 | Music

Do you like old time dancing, or just listening to a professional theatre organist play? Harworth Christie Organ Enthusiasts hold a monthly dance and concert, usually on the last weekend of every month (dancing on the Saturday evening, with a concert on Sunday afternoon) and are inviting visitors to join them.

Members are entertained by a different professional organist every month, playing the group’s Christie theatre organ. November’s concert, featuring Nicholas Martin, takes place on Sunday 26th November at 2.30pm. Tickets cost £6.00 for members and senior citizens and £7.00 for non-members. Entry for children aged under 12 is free with an accompanying adult and free refreshments will be served in the interval.
The upcoming programme of dances features:

  • 25th November — Nicholas Martin
  • 16th December — Howard Beaumont
  • 27th January 2018 — Phillip Randles

The events are held at Harworth Community Hall, Whitehouse Road, Bircotes DN11 8EF. For more information see www.harworthchristie.org.uk or call Mr Fleetwood on 07985 580558.
