As with many things this year, it is hard to plan ahead with full details as every week brings different guidelines concerning the pandemic. Organisers are, however, delighted to be able to confirm, that at present down at The Well, Hospital Road, Retford DN22 7BD they are planning to be a collection point for shoeboxes between Monday 9th November and Monday 16th November. They are looking to be open for you between 9.30am and 4.30pm each of the weekdays, but will be closed on the Saturday and Sunday. Things will be a bit different this year as they cannot offer any presentations, visits or collections.
You can find all the details about where to get your boxes from, what to put into the boxes, etc, from the Operation Christmas Child website – www.samaritans-purse.org.uk. You will then be able to take your box / es down on these days when everything will be in place to work under the guidelines laid down by Samaritan’s Purse and the Well to ensure your safety and wellbeing.
