Voglia d’Italia (the Italian Society for South Yorks and North Notts) presents a talk entitled ‘Venice, Florence and Palermo: The Making of Italy’ in March. Dr Cristina Figueredo, University of York, explores the way in which the enterprising spirit, art and socio-political developments of these cities helped to shape modern Italy.
The meeting takes place on Friday 6th March at 7.30pm at Tickhill Pavilion, Tickhill DN11 9QN. Non-members are welcome for a £3.00 admission fee.
