‘The Screen’ at Retford Little Theatre is pleased to announce its award-winning surprise entry for Friday 11th October ‘Green Book’, the much-acclaimed story of America in the sixties and the struggle to overcome racism. A classically trained and brilliant musician, black of the Afro-Caribbean community, is teamed up by chance with a white driver and minder of the Italian American community. They become firm friends while suffering the prejudices of the time portrayed in hilarious and heart-breaking situations. The critics say it is not to be missed.
