Retford Ramblers Group are always happy to meet people who would like to join one of their Sunday walks. Experienced walkers or anyone just wanting to give it a try will be made welcome. The programme offers walks of varying lengths and in a variety of locations in our local area, in Lincolnshire and, of course, the Peak District.
The group walk on most Sundays and meet in the Chapelgate car park, where car sharing is encouraged. Planned walks in June are:
- 4th June — Back Tor and Wheel Stones, 10.5 miles
- 11th June — Bolsover and Hardwick Hall, nine miles
- 18th June — Alports Castle, eight miles
- 25th June — Bigby, Viking Way — Lincolnshire Wolds, 11 miles
