Exhibition by the Retford Art Society
Saturday 11th January to Saturday 7th March
Retford Art Society is unique in the area, in offering regular life drawing sessions to its members and friends for over 20 years. Sessions are both tutored and untutored and are open to anyone who is over 16 years and is interested in developing their drawing and painting skills through this challenging and rewarding experience. Life drawings have timeless quality to them. This exhibition gives a taste of the work done by members and friends.

Guided tours of Amcott House
23rd January and 27th February, 2.00pm to 3.00pm
Discover the story and secrets of Amcott House, which is home to Bassetlaw Museum. Find out about its previous owners and the transition from a private house to museum. Pay as much as you like. Booking is essential, call 01777 713749.

Art for the terrified – art classes
11th January, 25th January, 8th February, 10.30am to 12.30pm
Friendly and relaxed art lessons for beginners, just take a pencil! Stay as long as you like, tea/coffee is provided for a small donation. Suitable for ages 16 and over. The cost is £7.00 per person. For more information, call the museum on 01777 713749.
