Retford and District Historical and Archaeological Society

by | 6 September 2018 | Heritage

Members of Retford and District Historical and Archaeological Society have enjoyed their summer break and have stories to share of holidays and historical places they have visited and are looking forward to the new programme of events.

September is the time for current members to re-join for the new season ahead and for anyone thinking about coming along to join as a new member or as a visitor. The society meets on the second Wednesday of the month, from September to May, at 7.30pm in the Chapelgate Hall situated behind Grove Street Methodist Church Retford.
Their first meeting is on Wednesday 12th September, when Judith Mills will be giving a talk with presentation on Nottingham’s Historic Green Spaces. So come along and find out more about local places and persons of interest, and make new friends. For more information contact Jean Martin on 01777 705980 or marleyjean6@gmail.com.
