Ranskill Bowls Club, situated in Station Road, Ranskill, is one of the few crown green bowling clubs in the area. Established in 1927, the members are very active and enthusiastic. They play matches with various clubs throughout the year, and competitions for cups and trophies which have been donated by village residents over the years. They play bowls outside throughout the summer months and inside (short mat bowls) throughout the winter.
They are a very welcoming club and have members from the village, as well as Retford and Harworth.
They play on Thursday evenings from 6.00pm to 8.00pm and on Saturday afternoons from 2.00pm to 4.30pm, plus on Bank Holidays. Member can also play between themselves any day.
