East Markham Apple Day

This year’s Apple Day at East Markham, will be on Sunday 7th October, from 10.00am to 4.00pm. The celebration will last all day, in and around the Village Hall and adjacent Heritage Orchard. The orchard has over 300 varieties of apples and it is the 20th Year of the Heritage Orchard, which was launched in 1998 by celebrity gardeners Jon Stirland and Martin Fish, who will be visiting this year’s Apple Day.

East Markham’s Apple Day also features a special Cider Bar highlighting Cider produced in the village, Apple Recipes, which includes free tasting tables, pick your own apples at bargain prices, an Apple Advice Centre and dozens of stalls related to apples, fruit growing, general gardening and crafts. There will be refreshments and entertainment throughout the day, plus don’t miss the brand-new apple recipe book. For directions, follow SatNav NG22 0SS and there is free street parking.
