Retford Ramblers Group are always happy to meet people who would like to join one of their Sunday walks. Members walk on most Sundays and meet in the Chapelgate Car Park where car sharing is encouraged. Ramblers are a charity dedicated to protecting the public rights of way which makes the countryside more accessible for everyone. Upcoming walks are:
- 13th May — Mam Tor and Lose Hill, a day walk covering 11-and-a-half miles
- 20th May — Back Tor and Strines, another long day walk of 11 miles
- 27th May — Bank Holiday to Hades and Back from Dunford Bridge, a moderate nine miles
