Worksop Society of Artists is holding an exhibition of work at the Aurora Centre, The Old Library, Memorial Avenue, Worksop, from Thursday 16th to Thursday 30th July. We hope you’ll have time to visit after reading this!
The exhibition is free and is open weekdays 9.00am to 4.00pm, with art work available for sale.
This is also an opportunity to see Aurora’s displays on the history of Worksop, visit their newly refurbished charity shop and enjoy refreshments in their café. Members of the Society will be on hand so if you’ve been thinking about joining, this is an opportunity to find out more.
New members are always welcome to call in to any of the group’s regular Monday meetings at Worksop Cricket Club, Central Avenue, Worksop between 10.00am and 3.00pm, to chat to members.
There is also a programme of monthly demonstrations, the next one being in September, which are open to non-members to attend. These afternoon sessions cost £6.00 and refreshments are served. The Society also holds regular member-led workshops throughout the year and social activities.
