The weekend of 26th to 28th September saw the Grand Finale (Round 8) of the No Limits Racing – Dart Motorsport Premier 1000 Championship, held on the Donington Park GP circuit.  Retford motorcycle racer Scott Stone was in second place in the Championship but needed a superhuman effort to have a chance of taking the title. In the event, various technical issues and the changeable weather prevented further advancement, but Scott did record a new Personal Best lap time of 1 min 34.104 secs for the 2.49-miles course. He finished a very convincing runner-up  in the Championship. Congratulations to Championship winner #28 Wilfrid Turner with whom Scott enjoyed several very close races during the year.
In his first full season riding the AMCO Yamaha R1, Scott has made real progress, setting new PBs at every dry event and finishing on the podium 16 times. He has thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of racing the more powerful bike and emphasises his appreciation for the help and support from his sponsors, family and friends. Preparations for 2026 are already in hand for Scott to step up to
the Pirelli Super Series 1000.
