The Retford District MS Society Support Group invites anyone affected by multiple sclerosis to its monthly Coffee, Cake and Chat session on Friday 7th November at The Well, Hospital Road, Retford, DN22 7BD, from 10.30am to 12.00pm. Visitors will receive a warm welcome from the friendly members and supporters.
The group’s annual fundraiser will take place on Friday 31st October at The Well, featuring a fun Halloween Trick or Treat theme. The event runs from 10.30am to 12.00pm and will include refreshments, tombola stands for both children and adults, bottle and cake stalls, and a Halloween selfie drop. Everyone is encouraged to go along and show their support.
Weekly Zoom sessions for physiotherapy, exercise, wellbeing, and chat continue to be held online, helping members stay connected and active. The group actively promotes exercise as a key part of maintaining health and wellbeing, providing home exercise equipment where needed. Members are also taking part in the Wednesday Wellness Project.
The Retford District MS Society Support Group exists to help people living with MS – and their families – to live well and feel supported. New members are always very welcome.
