Two Hands, One Voice is an all-inclusive signing community choir, singing and signing a variety of songs from the 1960s right through to the present day. People of any age and ability are welcome to join. The choir meets every Friday from 5.15pm to 6.15pm at Grove Street Methodist Church in Retford.
With the summer holidays and the return to school, the choir took a pause during August and September. When sessions did take place, it was a chance to revisit favourites such as Hallelujah, Reach and A Million Dreams, alongside newer songs including Austin and Ironic.
Looking ahead, the choir is preparing for a four-hour sing-and-sign-a-thon on Saturday 8th November, in support of the Riding for the Disabled Association, Rossington Branch, where one of the members attends. Rehearsals are well underway and a wide variety of songs will be performed throughout the event. More details will follow in the November edition.
As Christmas approaches, Two Hands, One Voice are looking forward to visiting care homes and community events to perform Christmas songs and carols. If you would like the choir to support your festive event, please get in touch.
