The Retford District MS Society Support Group will hold its monthly coffee, cake and chat morning on Friday 6th June at The Well, Hospital Road, Retford DN22 7BD, from 10.30am until 12.00pm. This month, the group will welcome David Gaskell from Home Instead Care Company, who will lead a discussion around live-in care and healthcare. All those affected by MS are invited to attend and will be warmly welcomed by the group’s friendly members and supporters.
The group extends thanks to everyone who visited their stall on Charter Day, noting how lovely it was to see so many people enjoying the event.
Weekly Zoom sessions for physiotherapy, exercise, wellbeing and chat continue, providing consistent support and connection for members. The group also promotes the health benefits of regular exercise and supplies exercise equipment for home use where needed. Members are also participating in the Wednesday Wellness Project.
The Retford District MS Society Support Group is part of the UK charity the MS Society. It offers support to individuals and families affected by MS and always welcomes new members.
