Clarborough and District WI continues to grow, with two new members recently joining. In April, Rebecca Kay was invited as a speaker and gave a fascinating insight into beekeeping and honey production.
The meeting in May is the ‘business’ month, where the group will hold their annual meeting and review the year. There will also be a discussion on the new national resolution, which is ‘Bystanders can be lifesavers’. A meeting later in the year will focus on learning the various aspects of resuscitation.
Looking forward to June, the group will have a more light-hearted meeting to celebrate their 64th birthday.
Meetings are held at 2.00pm on the second Monday of the month in the Village Hall at Clarborough. Visitors are welcome for a small charge, which includes a raffle ticket and refreshments. The group looks forward to seeing you there.
