The new exhibition in the Upstairs Gallery at Retford Arts Hub runs from 1st May to 13th June and is titled Poetry in Art. Some interesting works of art have been produced, and visitors can follow the artist’s train of thought from the word to the work produced.
In May, the Hub also celebrates its tenth anniversary. To mark this occasion, a weekend of Open Studios will be held on 16th May and 17th May. Various artists and crafters will be demonstrating their skills, offering inspiration and advice to visitors. There will also be the opportunity to try out your artistic side!
Kids’ Art and Craft Classes continue to run on the second and fourth Saturday of each month for children aged 7 to 11 years old. The cost will be £3.00, which includes all materials. For further information, call in at the Arts Hub or check out their Facebook page.
