Anyone interested in trying bowls is invited to Retford Bowling Green’s Open Day on Sunday 27th April from 10.00am to 12.00pm. There is no need to book – simply turn up, and bowls and shoes will be provided. Qualified coaches will be available to help beginners get started.
The summer season begins on Wednesday 16th April, and the club is looking forward to another successful and enjoyable season. Retford Bowling Green is a thriving club with growing opportunities to play.
This season, a second team is being introduced into the Retford and District League.
With six teams now playing in regular league matches, as well as several established friendly fixtures and numerous internal matches, there is something happening at the club most days of the week. This ensures plenty of opportunities for members to get out on the green and enjoy the game.
