With the worst of winter now behind, thoughts turn to spring, longer days, and getting out more. What better way to celebrate than with an uplifting concert in splendid surroundings?
North Notts Chamber Choir is well into rehearsals for its Spring Concert, to be held in the magnificent chapel of Worksop College on Sunday 23rd March at 7.00pm, and looks forward to performing for all to enjoy.
The music of Karl Jenkins is well known, and the choir will be performing one of his most popular pieces, The Armed Man – A Mass for Peace. Amongst other works, they will also perform another well-loved composition, Mass in Time of War by Joseph Haydn.
North Notts Chamber Choir will be joined for the evening by Worksop College Chapel Choir and Mountgarret Concert Orchestra, all under the baton of Musical Director Tim Uglow.
