Fresh air, exercise, good conversation, and the chance to explore the countryside – Retford Ramblers offers all of these.
This small, friendly group meets on Sundays, gathering at Chapelgate Car Park to arrange car sharing if needed.
The scheduled walks for March include:
- Sunday 2nd March – a walk from Market Rasen through woodland to Tealby on the Lincolnshire Wolds.
- Sunday 9th March – a route through the Peak District, starting from the Longshaw Estate, passing through Padley Gorge, and out onto Hathersage Moor.
- Sunday 16th March – a local walk from Manton Pit Wood into Clumber Park.
