Join Retford Library staff for an evening of pure calm and relaxing reading. Take along the book you are reading and enjoy a peaceful hour in the beautiful heritage room. There will be time to chat about what you are reading as well as to enjoy some refreshments. Tickets cost £3.00 (to include refreshments) and booking is essential.
Keep Calm and Carry Yarn
Thursdays 6th and 20th March, 1.30pm to 3.00pm
Fortnightly sessions. Take along your own craft project to work on and have a chat with others over coffee and biscuits. The cost is £1.00, to include refreshments.

Fortnightly sessions. Go along, listen and share. An informal friendly group with members at different stages of the writing process, including beginners.

Stories and rhymes for the under-fives in the children’s library. Just turn up and join in the fun.
Retford Library has a fascinating local heritage collection and offers free use of Ancestry and the British Newspaper Archive on library PCs for library members. The 1921 census is now available too.
