Upcoming services and events
- Sundays 10.30am: Morning worship with Sunday Club for children. Coffee, tea and biscuits, along with time to chat, follow the service. Communion is shared on the second and fifth Sundays of the month.
- Sunday 2nd March 10.30am: The launch of St Saviour’s Café Church – an exciting new way to explore faith and experience Church. This event will continue on the first Sunday of every month, with a free breakfast / brunch served in church from 10.30am to 11.00am. A short, informal, innovative, and accessible service will follow, suitable for anyone who is curious or seeking to belong. All are welcome – whatever your age.
- Tuesdays 3.30pm to 4.45pm (term time): Lego Club for primary-age children and their adults. Play, snacks, and Bible stories. Contact Jane on 01777 948431.
Wednesdays 10.30am: Traditional Book of Common Prayer Communion, followed by a time of friendship and refreshments. - Thursdays 5.00pm: Rainbows, Brownies, and Guides. Contact clarecheetham19@gmail.com.
Grief Café: On the first Tuesday of each month from 2.00pm to 3.00pm, an informal get-together for those who have been bereaved. Also happening in March…
World Day of Prayer is being held at St Saviour’s on Friday 7th March, 2.00pm. All are welcome to join in. The presentation this year has been put together by Christian’s from the Cook Islands Polynesia. Tea / coffee and biscuits will be served.
Christian Aid Lunches will be offered in St Saviour’s Community Centre, beginning on Friday 14th March and then also on the 21st and 28th March, and 4th, 11th and 18th April. A simple lunch is served from 12.00pm, featuring homemade soup, bread and cheese, tea and coffee. The cost is £5.00 and proceeds go to help those less fortunate than ourselves who are helped by the Christian Aid organisation worldwide. All are welcome.
