Ryton Chorale’s rehearsals on Monday evenings are in full swing for the next concert on Saturday 16th November, at The Crossing. The Chorale will perform Carl Jenkins’ The Armed Man, along with some supporting pieces, both vocal and on the organ. Why not go along and listen?
Before the concert, there is a Come and Sing event, which is free and with no obligation. Anyone interested in singing is welcome to join on Monday 7th October, at 7.30pm at Holy Family School, Netherton Road, S80 2SF.
Attendees are asked to register to ensure there is enough music available. Visitors can stay for as long as they like, meet the members, and have a chat. New voices in all sections, both male and female, are warmly welcomed. To register or for any queries, email sing@rytonchorale.org.uk.
For those interested in supporting the Chorale, either through sponsorship for future events or by becoming a patron, the group would be delighted to hear from you. The costs of running a choir, especially with an orchestra and soloists for concerts, are considerable. Becoming a patron costs £40.00 for the year, which includes tickets to four concerts: November, Christmas, Spring, and Summer.
