At the Retford District MS Society Support Group’s September coffee and chat meeting, Jo, one of their members, demonstrated ‘Needle Felting’. With Jo’s guidance, several members created felt pumpkins, which were admired by the group. Thanks go to Jo for supplying the materials and giving such an interesting demonstration.

On Friday 4th October, they are holding a Mug ‘N Muffin Morning Fundraiser to celebrate 70 years of the MS Society. Everyone is encouraged to take along friends, family, and neighbours for a fun morning, where attendees will have the chance to choose a lucky muffin to win a prize while enjoying a mug of something hot.

Other attractions will include a tombola, a cake and confectionery stall, a preloved fashion rail and accessories, and a bottle stall where everyone wins a prize.

The fundraiser will take place at The Well from 10.30am to 12.00pm.

November’s coffee and chat will be held on Friday 1st November, and Angie Dainty, BPL’s Community Health and Wellbeing Manager, will be visiting.

The group’s Zoom meetings for physiotherapy, exercise, wellbeing sessions, and chat continue on a weekly basis.
