As the cricket season winds down with only a couple of games left to play, Retford Cricket Club looks back on another great year. However, before their focus turns to next season and the preparations needed, they are anticipating the celebrations at their annual awards nights.
At this time of year, Retford Cricket Club also reflects on and is hugely grateful for their sponsors’ support, enabling them to play and entertain. They enjoy the assistance of several sponsors, including Retford Life magazine. Also notable are investments by One Call Insurance and Ye Olde Bell which have helped significantly improve the look of the clubhouse, attracting more people to visit the ground and enjoy not just the game but also the facilities on offer.
The clubhouse is available to hire, especially in the quiet off-season between October and April. With private, secure parking, a licensed bar and lots of outdoor space it makes for a fabulous venue for all manner of events from celebrations to meetings.
