Retford Bowling Green is getting ready for the start of the bowling season, opening on 14th April for members.
There is an Open Day on Sunday 28th April where people can go along between 10.00am and 12.00pm to give bowls a try. The club will provide shoes and bowls and there will be qualified coaches on hand to help you with the basics.
If you can’t make the Open Day, the club will also be in Kings Park on Charter Day, Monday 6th May. Coaches will again be on hand and equipment will be available, at no cost for anyone to give it a go.
If you have ever thought of giving bowls a try, hopefully you can attend one of these days. There will be several members around on both days; they are a friendly bunch so go and have a chat!
