Now it’s March, East Markham and Askham Gardeners’ Association (EMAGA) starts its annual series of talks, demonstrations and local horticultural shows in the East Markham Village Hall on the second Tuesday of each month. It’s a 7.30pm start; all are welcome, free entry, refreshments, raffle.
The talk on Tuesday 12th March is by Tom Helliwell-Foster and is about Willow Weaving.
EMAGA has also now restocked best quality compost and Trading 2024 begins on the East Markham allotments on Sunday 10th March from 9.30am to 11.00am (thereafter every fortnight throughout spring and summer).
All EMAGA activities – both monthly meetings and fortnightly Trading – are open to everyone. Membership is only £5.00 per year per household and members receive a 10% discount on main trading commodities. Trading is cash only, please.
