Retford Golf Club welcomed new Captains and Vice Captains in their traditional ‘Drive-In’. Sunshine and a big buffet breakfast preceded the customary golf competition, which ended in an honourable draw.
Club President Stuart Moore thanked the 2023 Captains, Anna Avery and David Halford, for all their hard work over the last year and welcomed John Flavell as Gents’ Captain 2024, and his Vice Captain Mark Allan, Ros Waterhouse as Lady Captain and her Vice Captain, Lynda Moore.
The Captain’s Charities for 2024 are My Name’5 Doddie Foundation for Motor Neuron Disease and NSPCC Nottinghamshire.
