The Screen at Retford Little Theatre is delighted to be showing ‘Elvis’, Baz Luhrmann’s latest blockbuster and award-winning film, on Friday 14th April at 7.30pm.
Whether you are a member of The Screen or not, don’t miss this treat with truly great performances from Austin Butler as ‘the King’ and an unrecognisable Tom Hanks as the infamous ‘Colonel Parker’.
It tells the tale of Elvis Presley’s rise and eventual heartbreak but in between all the hip swinging success you would expect. Butler did all his own singing and dancing, and it really is hard to believe that the King is not actually in the building.
