Les Francophiles de Tickhill

The speaker for Les Francophiles de Tickhill on Wednesday 2nd March is Angela Wren. Angela is a local actor and author who writes crime novels inspired by the setting of her second home in the Cevennes, France. She has already produced five novels in the series ‘The Jacques Forêt Mysteries’ and is in the process of writing another. All these will be on sale after her talk, which will centre on the Cevennes. She also has a short story included in a recently published anthology, entitled ‘Dark Paris’.
The following month, there is a talk by Catherine Greensmith on Alfred Sisley, an English painter who worked alongside the French Impressionists.
