Rehearsals for Ryton Chorale restarted at the beginning of January after a busy autumn term. This term, two performances are scheduled.
Described as two of the finest 20th century pieces, the Faure Requiem and Poulenc Gloria concert is on Saturday 26th March at The Crossing at 7.30pm.
A performance of Stainer’s Crucifixion will take place on Sunday 10th April at Christchurch, Thievesdale Lane, S81 0XS when conductor Simon Lumby will also be the tenor soloist, along with former Ryton Chorale conductor David Wynne singing baritone solo.
