In November, Clarborough and District WI enjoyed an ‘Insight into Jewellery’ given by Pat Eames. This covered the history of jewellery and the origins of the stones used. Afterwards members were able to purchase items from the extensive display.
At the December meeting, members held a Christmas celebration where they were able to try handbell ringing followed by mince pies and mulled wine.
The next meeting will be held on 10th January at 7.30pm in Clarborough Village Hall, when the Retford Writers’ Group will give the WI the benefit of their experience in writing and publishing their own material. Visitors are welcome at a charge of £4.00.
