It has been wonderful for the charity to welcome you back into the refurbished Old Library building in Worksop. Thank you to everyone who has supported Aurora on this journey.

Are you looking for ways to support the charity? Would like to be part of the Aurora Wellbeing family? Why not volunteer? Volunteers are at the heart of what they do and they would not be able to deliver their services without them. They have a range of fulfilling volunteer roles, new and old and they are recruiting now!

Support their upcoming events
Their Katherine of Aragon fundraising event on 22nd October was a sell-out. Many thanks to Lesley Smith for her amazing story telling and to everyone who bought a ticket. Buying a ticket or going along to one of their events supports their fundraising, which means you are helping Aurora deliver services to the local community. Upcoming events are:
Fashion Show
Tuesday 16th November, 7.00pm

After a two-year break their fourth Worksop fashion show is taking place at North Notts Arena in Worksop. They will be raising funds to support their beauty therapy services which enables them to provide free beauty therapy or holistic treatments to men and women to help boost self-esteem and self-confidence whilst undergoing and recovering from cancer related treatments.
Fashion show coordinators ‘Complete Clothing’ will be showcasing high street and boutique clothing at discounted prices, modelled by people who are all cancer survivors or Aurora volunteers. Why not book a table for you and your friends to go along and enjoy an evening together where you can enjoy the fashions whilst taking advantage of the licensed bar on offer? As in previous years, they will have a selection of stalls for guest to browse selling local crafts with lots of opportunity to purchase that unique Christmas gift.
Tickets cost £10.00 and are available now.
Christmas Fair
Saturday 4th December, 2.00pm to 4.00pm

A Christmas fair with local craft stalls selling handmade items and interactive and fun activities for all the family to take part in.
Vintage Sale and Afternoon Tea
Friday 10th December, 2.30pm to 5.00pm

Aurora will be having a sale of vintage clothing, and household items in the Old Library Building followed by Afternoon Tea and a singer performing popular songs from the era. Tickets are £15.00 and booking is essential.
