Sequence dancing will resume at Ordsall Primary School, Retford, on Thursday evenings starting on 30th September and running from 8.00pm to 10.30pm, under MCs George and Jean Rothwell, both qualified sequence dance teachers.
Both old and new, experienced, and inexperienced dancers will get a very warm welcome.
Sequence dancing is based on all genres of ballroom dancing, except that all pairs / couples follow the same sequence of steps. This makes it easier to perform the dances by following behind other couples, should the sequence be unknown to you. All sequence dances have names such as The Mayfair Quickstep, Sally Ann Cha Cha and Emmerdale Waltz.
Sequence dancing is a great way to socialise and meet new people whilst simultaneously greatly enhancing both physical and mental agility and wellbeing. The entrance fee is £3.00 and please take your own drink.
